A cycle is a round of the campaign, usually lasting 6-12 real-world months. Each cycle, all factions are reset, all player hangars and player XP values are reset, and all players who participated in the previous cycle are awarded a bonus of RP for their participation, with members of the winning faction getting an increased payout. The server has gone through several past cycles
Most cycles use the entire Inner Sphere map, but cycles may also feature unique maps - for example, the cycle beginning February 2017 is a smaller map than usual, with only three major factions, showcasing the Andurien Succession.
