Operation/Assassination

See all operations Operation Description: Assassination is an operation that has an alternative victory option. Most operations are won when the enemy is reduced to a certain % of their BV and a particular ratio of BV is achieved between opponents. Assassination requires the designation of a commander, all armies in mechwars require this for active operations. If a player's commander unit is destroyed or flees the battlefield, that player automatically loses the game, regardless of the BV ration or strategic position. This does allow for "ties" more readily that other operations. If this is the case, players are required to reload a previous save and roll for a victor. The Mekwars client does not currently handle ties between players successfully.
