Damage to Swarming Infantry?

Damage to Swarming Infantry?

I've seen some problems with the Infantry taking damage. I witnessed a building collapse on some mech infantry with only 2 damage sustained. And just now I've had jump infantry take double damage from being dislodged from a mech. Is this correct?
