So, you have defected from SOL and you are fighting on the front lines with your new comrades in arms. It is now time to consider joining your Faction's forum section here on the MegaMekNET forums. Why is that? Because this is where you can go to privately talk about aspects of the game that you want to keep hidden from the other Houses. Maybe you have some tactics you want to share with your Housemates. Your faction leader might have important information there, such as current battle plans and target planets. Whatever the reason, you have decided to join your House Forum. So, how do you do that? It is actually quite easy. Let us assume that you want to join the Periphery and fight with all the other pirates. Yarrrr.
1. In the upper right corner of the screen click on the User Control Panel button:
2. Click on Usergroups:
3. Scroll down towards the bottom of the page:
4. Find the Periphery down among the last 6 options listed:

5. Over to the right find the Radio Button for the Periphery:
6. Click on the Radio Button.
7. Click on the Submit Button.
8. Wait.
Once you hit the Submit Button your Faction Leaders will approve your request. This may take a couple days or more as we are sometimes busy with work and family. Once you have put in your request feel free to say something to your soon to be House Leader if you see them online and Playing. You will know them by the " ^ " in front of their name, such as ^Mock26.
