How to accept an attack when the popup is gone!

Post by Bloodknight »

Since this has happened recently again and nobody who was online at the time knew how to accept an attack in the case of the popup having been accidentally closed, I thought it might be useful to have it here.

You just need to remember this:

1) Capellan Confederation is attacking Alcyone! Operation: Conquer. (Units: 1 Meks, 3 Vees, 1 Inf / BV: 4441) You may defend with: Army #0 (Units: 4 / BV: 4602)

The part in bold is a link. Click on that to accept. Shiny.

Isn't there a way to do so in the menu's as well? Could have sworn I saw an "Accept Attack" command somewhere.

Nope... that's where I was looking. If it were in the menus, this wouldn't have been a problem.

There is also a /defend command, the syntax is

/defend attack# army# team#; the problem is that you only see the attack# after you accepted...;).
So instead of the guesswork and lots of typing the link does the job much quicker.

Yes, using the link is def easy.
"Am I good enough to win against the best players on the server? No. Would I fight them regardless? Yes.
At the end of the day, they're pretend points on pretend planets."

Units are created and destroyed, only the player may remain.
