So I understand this bug corrupted my hangar, and possibly my backup in the process, but are you saying there's absolutely no older backup that could be recovered now? Have others experienced the same loss of data this week? I apologize for all the questions, but I'm finding it difficult to believe such a major bug would only be isolated to one account, and even so, there must some older backup that could be recovered.
It's just really frustrating to have several months of progress lost like this.

Good news, I was looking into a wrong folder where I only found a file for repasy.

That did the trick! My full hangar is restored and nothing seems to be missing anymore. 
The bug must have just broken the connection between my hangar and player profile.

This post is several days after the fact, but Fahr and I got the server back up a few hours after it went down. Play on!
