Hover entering building?

ok, I got a questiona bout this, cuz last cycle, when I myself or another player had a hover enter a building, it was stuck.This was only possible with a skid... no crit to it to make it immobile, just was unable to move out...

when was this changed?

played a game todya against a player who's hover was able to enter and exit buildings bvia his wanting. and Last I know this was not possible, and it would be stuck, I could of sworn i read somewhere in the forum about this, and a ruling was made about it, but I cannot find it.

So, is it legal movement now or not???

Codewise, they were able to enter and move through buildings just fine in the last cycle, so your recollection isn't correct. Also, I don't remember reading anything contrary to them being able to do that at that time.

I believe the trouble was skidding would put them on top of the building instead of in it. A bug not wanted but still crops up.

Rushvin,mine would not show any level change, it would just be stuck.

They were stuck because they suffered damage from the crash, resulting in a motivator crit. However, it doesn't *have* to result in a crit, and if you volunatrily drive into the building you might not even suffer damage at all.

ok, call me stupid Thran, but not sure what your saying... if its not showing that anything was critted from when it entered the building, how come its not letting it move. I mean, i figured if something was causing it not to move, it would show.

iirc it was a code bug that when a unit skidded into a building it got stuck.... there has been updates since last cycle, so most likey fixed. There is nothing in BT rules saying a hover may not enter a building
