Factory matrix

There are 3 types of units (mek, vehicle and infantry), and 4 weight class (light, medium, heavy and assault). Please also note that infantry is always light class.
Icon
In the matrix, some icons associated with numbers :

Available components for a given unit type and weight class.

Potential number of units that can be made from the available components for a given unit type and weight class.

Number of miniticks the factory is delayed for. You need a player active for as much tick in order to recover the factory production.

Available factory (Federated Suns). A factory is tightly associated with a faction, a unit that is built in a faction factory use the faction's build tables.

Unavailable factory (Federated Suns).

House bays

House bays are a common hangar for all faction players. It is the place to share unused or captured meks. It is also the place where capture operations deposit their stolen units. It is rare to see Heavy and Assault meks in house bay, since people tend to snap them up quickly. On the other hand, house bays are often filled with unpopular light or medium meks.
Buying from house bays
Buying from house bays (e.g. buying an used unit) is cheaper than buying from a new unit from a factory . You can only pick an available unit for a given weight class and unit type from the house bay. If your house bay for light meks is filled with two Locust (LCT-1V) and one Firestarter (FS9-H), you'd have a 33% chance to grab the Firestarter and a 66% chance to get one of the Locusts. If there's only one unit for a given weight class and unit type, you have a 100% chance to pull it.
Size limit
Depending on the server's configuration a house bay may be limited to a given amount of units, and extra units are scrapped or sold on the Black Market. See bay article to know more about it.
