Martian City uses the mars theme.

Spots

Spots setting indicates how many patches of a specific feature (wood, water, rough...) are to be added for every 15x17 map chunk. This value is a range composed of the lowest and highest possible values. If you have 5 minspots and 7 maxspots, and your final map is 30x17 (twice the size of a standard map), then you will have at least 10 patches and at most 14 patches. Size setting indicates the size of patches in hexes. Again it is a range, with lowest to highest possible values. Ratio is a calculated value that indicate the chance each map hex has to home a named feature.

It is possible (40%) that land elevation vary a lot. You can expect smooth (40%) landscape with a maximum level variation of 4 levels.

Buildings

This terrain definition use a GRID template of 16 sparse blocks. The area is made up of bungalows to medium buildings (1-3 floors). The city buildings' solidity is light to heavy (10-70 CF).It is certain (100%) that a road cross the map.

Extra features

Hydrometry

  • Area's substratum is reported to be stable, thus all water hexes are unlikely (20%) to show various deepness.

Biosphere

  • The local flora is reported to be standard. It is very unlikely (5%) each wooded hexes is an heavy wood.
