|
|
#4 Rogers[FS] is attempting a Hit'n'Run on Algedi with FS9-H [4/4], ENF-4R [3/5], PNT-9R [4/4], PNT-9R [3/5]; BV: 3843. Liom[DC] is defending with FS9-K [4/5], HER-4K [4/5], SDR-5V [2/4], Partisan Heavy Tank [4/5], Field Gunners (2xAC2) [3], Field Gunners (2xAC2) [3NAG]; BV: 3661 (BV vs 4.0 units : 3694)
You are now defending Attack #4.
[03:33] Liom [DC]: Can you host rogers?
It's taken over an hour and a half for 4 turns play at this stage, His FS9 stripped of ct and rl armour and down, enf 7 rounds ac10 ammo left, ll and shoulder critted, 1 ptr moderately damaged, 1 untouched.
At the point where he first surrendered he had already declared a kick on my FS9.
***Server: Napoleonsolo disconnected.
***Server: Napoleonsolo connected from /83.71.14.7
***Server: Rogers wants to admit defeat - type /victory to accept the surrender at the end of the turn.
***Server: Rogers wants to admit defeat - type /victory to accept the surrender at the end of the turn.
Liom: hasn't reached bv limits, I'm defender
Rogers: what does that mean
Liom: 25% of bv has to be destroyed or I'll only get a couple of bills
Liom: not worth the hour or so its taken so far
Rogers: lol
Rogers: i got to get sorry dude
***Server: Rogers wants to admit defeat - type /victory to accept the surrender at the end of the turn.
Napoleonsolo: he dont have to accept ur surrender dude
Napoleonsolo: u keepin typin it wont make it happen
Liom: not very good sportsmanship to attack with limited time and then take a long time on each round
I had then typed an offer to either play on to bv limits or to ej one of the ptr or the enf and I would accept immediately, at this stage the host had already hung as he had exited the server so he did not receive the message, although it was typed directly after the last recorded message so he obviously jumped out as soon as I entered the last line -
Rogers disconnected. You will win by forfeit if he does not return within 10 min.
[05:10] >> Exit Rogers
[05:20]Mortis [FS]: Game anyone?
Time expired. GAME RESOLVED AUTOMATICALLY. You defeated Rogers[FS] on Algedi (Hit'n'Run). The Field Gunners (2xAC2) survived the battle. Chu-i Benjiro "Taka" Matsuoka gained 58 XP. The SDR-5V survived the battle. Chu-i Kaemon "Ookami" Kaminaga gained 58 XP. The FS9-K survived the battle. Kashira Sachiko Nakayama gained 58 XP. The Partisan Heavy Tank survived the battle. Kashira Jomei Kanagaki gained 58 XP. The HER-4K survived the battle. Sho-ko Akeno Matsuzawa gained 58 XP. Rogers recovered his FS9-H. The pilot survived Your Field Gunners (2xAC2) was utterly destroyed . Heishi Kazuo Izumi gained 58 XPThe Field Gunners (2xAC2) squad was declared MIA.
I am not in the habit of denying surrenders, in fact this is my first one this cycle which I only denied since I felt the whole game had been a complete waste of my time.
NapoleonSolo was observing from about round 2 of the game if there is any need for witnesses. The game was hosted by Rogers and I copied all in game chat from the hung client before disconnecting. _________________ You touched my piece. NOBODY touches my piece! - Pete Hutter, Brisco County Jr. |

Point of fact:
The victor always gets a full payout, regardless of damage. Only the defeated party may be subject to a "lesser" payment, if there is not enough difference between the starting BV and final BV.
The auto-disconnect resolved as intended, you received a full payout. The loser did have a mek put in the salvage pool, which he recovered.
Complaint dismissed. _________________ Admin for Public Relations/Player Information

Thanks for the clarification, I thought it was the attacker that always received full payout.
Also on the subject of intentional disconnect I see that it isn't actually listed as an offense once the autoresolve takes place so sorry for wasting your time, sort of ironic considering the reason I refused surrender |
