My Fieldgunners could take an aimed shot at an blacked out Spartan.
I used the infantry rifles and aimed for center torso on the rear table.

Code:
Weapons fire for Field Gunners (AC2) ID:11 (Renfield)
    Infantry Rifle at Spartan SPT-NF ID:1 (McMadMax); needs 4, rolls 8 : 17 troopers hit (using Rear table), causing 9 damage.
        Spartan SPT-NF ID:1 (McMadMax) takes 2 damage to RA. 20 Armor remaining. (hit aimed location)
        Spartan SPT-NF ID:1 (McMadMax) takes 2 damage to CTR. 5 Armor remaining.
        Spartan SPT-NF ID:1 (McMadMax) takes 2 damage to LA. 10 Armor remaining.
        Spartan SPT-NF ID:1 (McMadMax) takes 2 damage to LL. 23 Armor remaining. (hit aimed location)
        Spartan SPT-NF ID:1 (McMadMax) takes 1 damage to CTR. 4 Armor remaining.

The aiming didnt work (or at least is displayed wrong). Is that correct behaviour for inf or a bug?
Total Warfare says on page 110:
Players may make aimed shots [...], using any weapons other than missile launchers and LB-X AC using cluster ammo.

Looks as though it is displayed wrong as you hit the CTR twice which was your aimed location. Should probably read
