Attacker advantage

It seems that the attacker has a big terrain advantage. Gamers make lances/armies for different terrain types, e.g. cities, and find a planet(s) to attack that mostly matches. They then wait to 'blind' someone in to that terrain.
Suggestion - When attacked, let the defender know the general terrain type and give a chance to modify his lance makeup, within the attacked BV range.

One of features of Legends BTW.
In general - very bad behavior, don't know what is the fun in such game.

Blinding is the default game mechanism on MegaMekNET, and therefore is not bad behavior.

Please refrain from making value judgments about the various servers.

Excuse me, I won't judge rules. I would say IMHO that's not very funny, when your average army is trapped in city/woods with opponent's HBKs/Devastators and this isn't random selection but intended by this opponent.

The intention is to encourage players to be active and to attack, being active and in game both stimulate your factions economy. There are tactics to help deal with getting blinded on terrain favorable to your opponent, i.e. balanced armies or covering armies.
