Strange arty damage

Playing on Mentawls Farmyard ded, got the following damage report with arty:

        Building #98328 absorbs 10 points of damage. 
UrbanMech UM-R60 ID:1 (ripper) protected by building.
Hunter Light Support Tank (LRM10) ID:3 (ripper) protected by building.
        Building #100380 absorbs 10 points of damage. 
The building in the hex absorbs 4 damage from the artillery strike!
UrbanMech UM-R60 ID:2 (ripper) hit for 10 damage.
        UrbanMech UM-R60 ID:2 (ripper) takes 1 damage to HD. 8 Armor remaining.

        Pilot of UrbanMech UM-R60 ID:2 (ripper) "Cp. Sophie "Bluelight" Koch" takes 1 damage.        
Pilot of UrbanMech UM-R60 ID:2 (ripper) "Cp. Sophie "Bluelight" Koch" needs a 3 to stay conscious.  Rolls 11 : successful!

My understanding is that it should be in 5 point clusters, is this a new change?

My understanding is building absorbed 4 damage,so should be 1damage clusters but 2 of these.Unless there was some recent change.
